This is a process-based activity that strengthens a variety of skills. Through this integrated activity students:

• improve their knowledge of animal issues today
• practice listening comprehension
• work on effective note taking while viewing the video presentations
• clarify their values on the issues presented
• rank the issues according to personal importance
• express their opinions and practice respectful debate with classmates
• negotiate and compromise to create a group list of issues ranked in importance based on group consensus
• formally present their group findings to the class
